The compost is fresh. The tea is hot.
But don’t touch the dahlias.

Welcome to Everpine & Petal—a small flower farm tucked into the mountains of North Georgia, where blooming rarely goes as planned, boots are ankle-deep in creek water, and the weeds? Relentless.
Toss out every Pinterest-perfect, white-cabinet farmhouse fantasy you’ve ever had—or brace yourself for unmet expectations, ass-chasing, rage-cleaning, and the sacred art of motherhood frustration.
Our farm is messy.
Our lives? Deeply rooted in brutal honesty.
And compromises?
They usually come with hidden receipts and D.O.A. jet skis… and that’s not even half an acre in.
Grab a teacup—because if you thought your coffee was strong, I’ll do my best to add some sugar for you.

If you only came for the peonies, you took a wrong turn at the compost pile.

About Me
Hi, I’m LaShelle. Once upon a time I was a full-time photographer, until I traded studio lights for sunburns and WiFi for one bar of cell service. Now I run a not-so-quiet 11-acre flower farm where the animals outnumber the humans and chaos is the unofficial farmhand. When I’m not yanking weeds, or wrangling ducks, I write essays, chase my kid, and keep a suspiciously close eye on my mini donkey. I love words, wilderness, and anything rooted in flora. It’s messy, and mostly held together with bale ties and bad decisions, but it’s home. I’ll bring the shovels, you bring the snacks.
